10 Years of Curbwear

We're celebrating our 10th Birthday with a look back at our special moments each year! Thank you to everyone who has joined us from the start and along the way.

1. Launch - 2013

Where to start? We catapulted into the men's underwear world in 2013 with model Ben, the infamous tube shoot and the very popular Identity range, the first underwear range to show your sexual taste.

2. Button's and Bus rides - 2014

We completed three shoots in 2014, including the launch of the Chelsea Brief, underwear with a faux button pouch. Mid 2014, Tobi arrived for his first ever shoot with Curbwear and completed a whirlwind of a shoot in under 1 hour! Finishing of 2014, Ben returns to London transport...this time on a red double decker bus.

3. Henry and some tiny briefs - 2015

New to modelling, Henry acted like a pro for his first shoot, including modelling our very tiny enhancing briefs.

Illustrator Joe Phillips completed a commision for us for the iconic "Kissing Heroes".

Having been photographed on the tube and a bus, the next form of transport for Ben was a London taxi which completed 2015.

4. Tobi comes twice - 2016

Starting off 2016, we had a rather saucy shoot with our first ever thong. Returning later that year, Tobi modelled our most daring styles to date including a fully mesh jock and backless briefs, even donning a wrestling mask for one pic! We also were fortunate enough to sponsor London's 'West End Bares' performance.

5. Ben's last shoot and James's first shoot - 2017

2017 saw our last shoot with Ben (for now?) and what better way to celebrate this then with Ben on a bed surrounded by posters of himself! During Autumn of 2017 we sponsored London's theatreland production of West End Bares... which is where we spotted our next model, James and future model Sean. Illustrator Joe Phillips completed a new commision for us for a very vers super hero.

6. Furry Sean - 2018

The theme for the new styles in 2018 was pink, sexy and fun.. and what a perfect model we had in Sean, who appeared in both shoots in 2018.

We were proud to sponsor GMDC (Gay Men's Dance Charity) performance in April.

7. Big Boy Oli - 2019

Strong and masculine model Oli came in for a shoot providing some classic shots..we did get him to smile in some pics!

After 2 years since his first shoot, James came back looking even more buff for his returning shoot.

8. A very different year - 2020

James was back from his December 2019 shoot to complete another shoot for some new items in January 2020. Little did we know what was about to come! With Covid, production and shoots all ground to a halt. When production began again in our Portuguese factory we finally launched our new styles, which I modelled myself and shot using my phone. As some restrictions were lifted, we shot a local guy Max, outside, for his first ever shoot.

9. Back in the studio again - 2021

With Covid restrictions being put in place once more, home shoots were back on! In July we were able to shoot again in the studio with Swedish model Rasmus.

10. Fit Joe - 2022

Fitness model Joe was in the studio at the very end of 2021 shooting the new 2022 collections including mesh briefs and jocks with muscle go-go dancer Darren shot mid 2022.

Today - 2023

May 2023 marks 10 years of Curbwear and we have brought back some of your favourite styles, including the Chelsea Brief and the Star Brief with other styles making a comeback later this year. We also released exciting new styles and new shapes, including the Camo range and the Neon range, coming later this year. Here is a little preview at our new shoot with a local rugby guy.
